Job Title: Project Manager / Pre Planner
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for reducing hazards, minimizing disruptions, increasing efficiency, estimating durations,
Survey all assigned sites to assess potential obstructions and define logical order of work.
Assess job locations for ideal/safe mobilization of equipment.
Works with supervised personnel to set individual performance goals and expectations.
Takes an active part in building high morale within the employee group.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Completes all reports as directed by supervisor.
Manages monthly inventory ending figures and assures that fiscal inventories are taken on a regular basis.
Responsible to have and maintain all necessary certificates, licenses and registrations.
Takes an active role in promoting growth, progress and profitability of the business.
Complies with all applicable OSHA, EPA and FDA rules and regulations.
Resolves customer complaints.
Wears all required protective equipment.
Records and handles all inventory transfers between locations.
Applies, loads and delivers products as necessary.
Maintains sound environmental stewardship on premises and at application sites.
Attend meeting and training sessions as directed by supervisor.
Responsible for immediately correcting and notifying supervisor of any potential health or safety hazard or
any other situations that might cause harm to an employee, the business or the general public.
Maintain a drug free work environment. Pre-employment and random drug testing.
Must be able to travel for periods of up to two weeks.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Field Supervisors, Chemical Applicators and Applicator assistants.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have experience supervising
employees and have excellent attention to detail. One must be able to perform each essential duty
satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform
the essential functions. Strong written and oral communication skills are mandatory. Must be competent
with Excel, Word, and other digital programs as needed.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or GED and three years experience in a related
field. Railroad, DOT, experience preferred but not required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This job may require extended hours of work during peak seasons. It may
require working outdoors in inclement weather and exposure to extreme temperatures and conditions.
The position may require moderate to heavy lifting of up to 100 lbs
Compensation: Salary/ Depending on experience. Lodging, per diem and communication provided.
